To emphasize the geometrical specialty of the architecture, linear lights were installed on the cornice at the top of each volume. The four giant columns with circular crown top in the middle of the square are independent eye-catching elements of the site. LED strips were installed at the edge of the circular top. Combined with light come out form the cornice of square volumes, the ceiling gives an illusion of floating in the air. The architecture was used stone as the material of the exterior facade which elaborates the smooth texture of the building. The glowing light from the ground recessed wall wash up-light surrounds the architecture, adding a quiet yet harmonized atmosphere. The ground recessed wall wash lights were used to light up the orderly circular-shaped arch. The reflection from metal surface and the inverted reflection from the water of the pond constructs a layered lighting environment. The gentle surface reflected light and the straight projecting light from the surrounding architecture not only forms a contrast, but also closely reconciles. All the lighting fixtures were concealed in the architecture, make the lighting environment as a part of the space.
