The Ac-lipse Acoustic Light is the latest innovative acoustic pendant from international design firm Luxxbox. A dual-purpose luminaire, Ac-lipse offers highly-effective sound absorption and a striking lumen package. One side is illuminated by an LED panel with a minimum 5400 lumens, while the reverse side contains a sound-absorbing panel made from a minimum 65% recycled materials. With a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of at least 0.4 (40%) Ac-lipse is designed for the acoustic panel to be angled towards the noise source, while the LED offers a wash of light on adjacent surfaces. Ac-lipse can be pivoted 360º on a horizontal axis allowing for different light directions. This angle can be locked during the manufacture process or set in the field. Making full use of the void between the ceiling and surfaces below, and with unparalleled customisation, the Ac-lipse Acoustic Light by Luxxbox reduces sound, creating productive work zones in noisy open spaces with reduced stress and fatigued
