Entry Description

Iris is a li-on battery powered table lamp designed to be simple but sophisticated at the same time. It has two independent dimmable light sources for different purposes and it makes IRIS so unique: the first one is just for guidance in the dark, the effect is incredible like an eclipse. You just need to keep it in natural position and press the touch button on the base to turn it on - if you want to dim it, just press and hold the same button. The second one is a great and powerful light source for reading or working and it can be chosen just by pressing the round hitter. It will turn off the first light source automatically.

ÍRIS was concepted to be a table lamp different than everything. It has a completely innovative light source system changing that proves to be very useful in everyone's daily routine. The idea was just have a piece of art inside your house that works very well like a luminaire. It is robust and absolutely was made to be extremely durable.

This design was inpired by a sculpture and the lamp was made to be an artwork. The end user will have the opportunity to have a piece of art that emits light and can be used as a luminaire. The format is simple. The lines are easy to like and fall in love with ÍRIS. The production is simple and uses some of our most simple processes. It is good, because the luminaire doen't need fancy machines to be made.

Sustainability Approach

ÍRIS is made of steel and aluminium, but all the material is reuse. We have a big luminaire factory and some part of the material that leftover and probably would be discard we can use to make this product. The lifespan of ÍRIS is huge. It can probably almost last forever due to its robust construction and quality of the components.
