Entry DescriptionThe lighting design for Lifted elevates the clinic’s vision of merging scientific precision with poetic wellness. Every luminaire is meticulously tuned to 3500K, a warm yet clinically clear tone paired with CRI97 accuracy to render skin tones, materials, and artworks with uncompromising fidelity. Light becomes both a diagnostic tool and an emotional balm, guiding visitors through a journey of trust, luxury, and calm.
Recessed linear grazers trace the curvature of walls, accentuating the architecture’s fluidity while eliminating harsh shadows. Sculptural focal points, such as the blue marble reception and Gabriel Aries’ syringe-inspired installation, are brought to life with precision spotlights, their textures and forms revealed in rich, true color. Daylight is seamlessly integrated with artificial illumination, ensuring continuity from sunlit lounges to softly lit treatment rooms.
The result is a layered composition of ambient, accent, and task lighting that frames each space as an intimate stage, where every surface glows with intention. In Lifted, light is not decoration; it is the medium that bridges art and science, transforming a clinical environment into an uplifting, human-centred experience.
Sustainability ApproachThe lighting strategy for Lifted embraces long term quality usage, with over 75% of fixtures refitted from repairable components such as LED chips and power supply. High-efficiency LEDs at 3500K, CRI97 ensure exceptional visual quality while reducing energy use by over 40% compared to conventional lighting. Modular fittings allow future upgrades without full replacement, extending lifecycle and minimizing waste. Local sourcing and low-impact transport further cut carbon emissions, while intelligent controls optimize daylight integration, lowering operational footprint and aligning beauty with environmental responsibility.
