Entry Description

Parque Lineal Ferrocarril de Cuernavaca arises from the need to reactivate an abandoned environment within a residential and industrial area that involves different social environments in its 4.5km in length.
The lighting proposal contributes to create a friendly environment with users, providing a perception of safety and cleanliness that in turn emphasizes the elements of the urban landscape and highlights the central axis of the railway.
The line is established by an arrangement of multimodal poles integrated by three lighting principles:
1. General light for pedestrian paths and bike path
2. Spot light towards fronds and landscape elements
3. Linear accents framing the railway

Special care was taken to create a soft environment, avoiding the appearance of excessive brightness and highlighting the vertical vegetal envelope, achieving a better reading of the linearity of the project and its urban scale.
