Entry DescriptionRuby is a desk lamp that fuses engineering precision with sculptural elegance. Built on a linear bearing system, it allows smooth and versatile movement. The connector, draped over the rod like a sheet of fabric falling naturally into place, softens the strict geometry and introduces an organic, fluid quality. With its bold red finish and poetic presence, Ruby becomes more than a lamp it is a functional yet graceful design statement within the space.
Sustainability ApproachRuby was designed with a holistic approach to sustainability, combining durability, simplicity, and emotional value. Its modular construction, based on a linear rail and industrial bearings, ensures smooth operation for years and allows for maintenance or component replacement without unnecessary waste. At the same time, the connector resembling a fabric gracefully draped over the rod – introduces a poetic and human quality that fosters an emotional bond with the user. In this way, Ruby becomes more than a functional lamp: it is a lasting personal object, sustained both by its engineering efficiency and by the meaningful attachment it creates.
