Entry DescriptionThe World’s Longest Chandelier which was made by Crystal Caviar s. r. o., in collaboration with Czech sculptor Jaroslav Prosek, who developed the chandelier.
This chandelier is installed in a most luxurious newly built commercial centre Solitaire in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It was being developed for almost a year, and after the final approval, it took another year by Crystal Caviar to produce the components. The company Subfossil Oak supplied the electrical components to the project.
The structure itself is made out of polished stainless steel which is decorated with 44 088 pieces of cut crystals of various diameters. The lighting is provided by 215 424 pieces of LED chips, which are inside the chandelier, each of them can be individually programmed and bring the possibility of changing white colour temperature. The phenomenal chandelier weights over 11 tons and is attached to 408 stainless steel strings.
The overall length of the chandelier is 227,94m.
