Entry Description

Although these three civic institutions are uniquely defined and separated, a simple “lines” of light solution links them together and create a strong but harmony dialogue within the site. Lighting design was inspired by the “flower petal”. Those “lines” mimic the petal veins to create a flowing effect. It injects the site with urban vitality and enhances the building forms, layers and contrasts. Some time it’s a “line”, and gradually becomes an architectural reveal and then becomes the balcony and fades again…. Those energetic “lines” flow throughout the buildings and echoes the activities inside, just like the flower blossoming.
