Entry Description

The design of Ta-ke Restaurant divides the restaurant into 5 zones, each styled after a particular aspect of a Japanese traditional courtyard. A white pebble stone pathway connecting different areas of the restaurant with partitions made of bamboo. Locally sourced bamboos are used with tailor- made light and shadows, creating a calm and peaceful environment.

With light and shadows, the traditional Japanese landscape garden is recreated through the abundant use of bamboo, paper, and adobe bricks.
