Entry Description

The lighting design for Julia Peng’s 2025 “Every Way of Love” Tour was guided by the theme “The Extension of Sound.” Combining high-resolution LED screens with multi-layered lighting, the design balanced grandeur with intimacy, showcasing both the power and tenderness of her music.

The main stage featured movable LED panels that shifted laterally in sync with the music and visuals, creating dynamic transitions across performances. Behind the audience, five vertical light walls extended the spatial depth, linking front and back into a cohesive three-dimensional light field. Lighting tones evolved with each song—from warm, lyrical glows to vibrant bursts of rhythm—mirroring the emotional arcs within Peng’s voice. Through precise programming and real-time control, light and sound achieved a seamless dialogue, allowing audiences to feel the sincerity and emotional force of each note.
Sustainability Approach

All LED and projection units utilized high-efficiency, low-power models, while the modular rigging structure simplified assembly. For a tour spanning multiple cities, the system was designed for repetition and reusability, enabling quick disassembly, repair, and redeployment. Lighting control employed segmented dimming and timed power-saving modes, automatically entering low-power operation between performances. Transport and packaging used lightweight, recyclable materials, cutting long-distance carbon emissions. This strategy not only aligns with modern energy-saving trends in live performance but also translates the theme of love into a commitment to the planet—an expression of how emotional connection and environmental care can coexist on the same stage.
