Entry Description

Luo Zhai, a 400-year-old historical house, was first built in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The architect use a modern design method but give back the old story to us, so as to continue the culture and inherit the spirits of the old buildings, old streets and old alleys.
The lighting design of this project has fully considered the characteristics of the building, and created a poetic lighting environment to show the beauty of the historical building itself. The lighting on saddle wall, roof ridge and swallowtail roofs were aimed to be highlighted to fully show the classic characteristics of the historical building.
Indoor lighting design with different light scenes not only satisfy the functional lighting but also enhance the historical context of space. To guarantee the lighting demand at the same time to reflect the beauty of structure. To make Luo Zhai a perceptible poetic space within overall comfortable lighting atmosphere.
