Entry DescriptionThe facade lighting of the MAYAK Residential Complex was designed to emphasize the architectural form and become a recognizable element of the city skyline.
Custom luminaires with asymmetric narrow elliptical beams were developed to precisely illuminate designated areas. Each window effectively functions as a “pixel,” enabling subtle dynamic effects and light gradients across the facade.
The luminaires feature a five-channel light source — warm white, amber, and an RGB channel — providing natural illumination that highlights the texture of the stone surfaces. The façade primarily glows in golden-amber tones, with the possibility of activating other colors and special dynamic modes at designated moments.
A symbolic beacon rises from the tallest part of the building, creating a “lighthouse” effect visible from multiple points across the city.
All lighting content and effects are controlled via our Cloud Control system, allowing precise synchronization of all luminaires, accurate regulation of colors and modes, and remote project management.
This project combines engineering precision with an artistic approach to light, creating a façade that is simultaneously functional, emotionally engaging, and unique within the urban environment.
