Entry Description

The nightscape lighting design for Mingcheng Plaza extracts the "traditional, minimalist, and elegant" elements inherent in the architectural design. Respecting the building's "Ou-style Classical Charm" design concept, the lighting seamlessly integrates the commercial complex with its surroundings, showcasing a modern lighting interpretation within a traditional form.
Building upon the lighting techniques used in Wuzhou's Wuma Street and Chan Street, the design emphasizes architectural details through interplay of light and shadow, it cultivates a nighttime ambiance embodying Wenzhou's unique "Ou-style Classical Charm", integrating lighting design into the historical-cultural district night atmosphere.Utilizing gradations of color temperature, illuminance, and a transition from bright/warm to dim/cool, distinct visual hierarchies were created across spaces, resolving hierarchical relationships between viewing angles.
As a pivotal landmark within Wenzhou's historic Wuma Street district, Mingcheng Plaza, illuminated at dusk, adds a touch of elegance and classical charm to the city's nightscape. The design not only emphasizes the inheritance and presentation of traditional culture but also injects vitality into developing new "Moonlight Economy" business models.
