Entry Description

Hotel Volga is an immersive sensory experience where gastronomy, art, sounds and culture converge. It is a unique artistic and culinary destination in Mexico City.

The lighting design of Hotel Volga, transforms the architecture into an immersive sensory experience. More than a mere complement, light serves as a structural element that defines and articulates the hotel’s spaces. In the central atrium, natural light filters through the skylight, creating a play of light and shadow that accentuates the raw concrete and steel beams, crafting a theatrical and contemplative atmosphere. In contrast, subterranean spaces like the Minos Sound Room employ carefully designed artificial lighting to evoke intimacy and mystery, while the rooftop lighting highlights the openness and vitality of the surroundings. This comprehensive and transdisciplinary approach by Lighteam not only emphasizes the hotel’s brutalist and minimalist aesthetics but also enriches the guest experience, guiding them through a luminous narrative that interacts with the architecture and urban environment.
Sustainability Approach

The volga hotel meets the highest standards of energy efficiency and savings, low maintenance, protection and automation.
