Entry Description

Located in Ha Giang, Vietnam, this hospitality project integrates contemporary lighting solutions within a culturally resonant architectural framework. The design responds to stringent brand standards while adapting to the unique operational and atmospheric needs of each space. In guestrooms, suites, and spa areas, guest-oriented lighting controls allow full personalization of ambience, enhancing comfort and usability. Pre-function and ballroom areas feature programmable pre-set scenes that adapt to multiple event types—seminars, corporate functions, or weddings, ensuring consistent quality of light and optimized energy management. Public areas such as the lobby, lounge, and all-day dining operate continuously; lighting control groupings were carefully planned to support flexible operations, with time-based dimming transitions for day and night.
Across all areas, lighting emphasizes material expression—stone, wood, and artisanal elements, through balanced luminance and precise fixture placement. The outcome is a cohesive, functional, and brand-aligned environment where technical rigor and visual comfort coexist.
Sustainability Approach

Sustainability was addressed through energy-efficient design and compliance with hospitality environmental standards. The lighting system employs low-energy fixtures, adaptive dimming, and zoning strategies to reduce power consumption while maintaining visual quality. Control systems were configured to respond to operational schedules and occupancy patterns, minimizing unnecessary usage during low-activity periods. Circadian-responsive tuning supports natural light cycles and guest well-being without additional energy demand.
All solutions were selected in alignment with the brand’s sustainability mandates, prioritizing performance, reliability, and reduced maintenance. The resulting system achieves significant energy savings while preserving the aesthetic and functional intent of the design.
