Entry DescriptionReflecting Artyzen Habitat Shanghai's embrace of the modern city lifestyle, the meticulously crafted lighting transforms the hotel into a vibrant art gallery, enhancing its curated collection and the experience of guests seeking a balance of work, play, and rest. Warm, focused beams strategically highlight sculptures and paintings, acting as a narrative tool that encourages discovery and a deeper connection with the art. Layered illumination, including integrated strip lighting, creates a soft and inviting ambiance, a comfortable backdrop to the artistic journey. Subtle uplighting on greenery adds a touch of the "Urban Oasis," blending natural elements with the curated art. Flexible track lighting adapts to evolving displays, catering to the dynamic energy of travelers. Coffered ceilings, with material-washing fixtures, enhance architectural grandeur and sophistication. The interplay of light and shadow enhances the visual experience, inviting guests to explore the hotel's artistic offerings. Warm light tones create an intimate and comfortable atmosphere, allowing guests to fully appreciate the art in a glare-free environment, much like finding a moment of calm within the bustling Qiantan district. This integral design invites guests on a journey of discovery, contributing to the hotel's unique artistic soul and sense of place.
Sustainability ApproachOur lighting design prioritizes the use of energy-efficient LED technology, minimizing energy consumption and extending the lifespan of the lighting system. The flexible track lighting system further contributes to sustainability by allowing for precise adjustments and adaptability, reducing the need for complete fixture replacements when art displays evolve. Precision illumination, as seen in the dramatic double-height atrium and the strategic placement of downlights, ensures light is used only where needed, minimizing waste. The focus on soft, diffused ambient light and glare reduction creates a comfortable environment while further enhancing energy efficiency.
