Tenancingo Pent House

Prize(s) Winners in Residential Lighting
Lead Designers Paola Jose
Completion Date September, 2016
Project Location Mexico City
Entry Description

The project is located in Mexico City, in the heart of one of the most beautiful neighborhoods: La Condesa.
Our intervention was on the upper level of the pent house, a space for socializing and interacting, a space to share food, music and laughters. The space counts with a living room, a dinning table, a bar, a terrace and a toilet.

The lighting design follows the simplicity and sobriety of the space while accentuating its geometry and linearity. The lighting is elegant and simple, it merges with the colors and textures. The luminaires at daytime are visible in an invisible manner, they become part of the furniture and ornaments of the space.

The controls play an important role, the settings are made according to the types of atmospheres and moods. There are three types of atmospheres created mixing intensities, creating depths and mystery.

The maintenance and consumption is low, all of the luminaires selected are retrofit LED's and easy to replace LED stripes.
