Entry Description

In our project, we have dealt with the relationship between the object in our project, we have dealt with the relationship between the object itself and the light projection. Light projection is a very important part of the interior decoration of every living space.
Our lampshade, for example, contains elements of the thousand-year-old Freskomalereien of Dunhuang. With the help of the darker surfaces we want to project shadows into the interior. The lamp screen is rotated so that it does not become too static.
This makes the room much more lively. This principle is based on the Chinese tradition of turning door lighting. After many experiments we decided to turn the lampshade by means of a magnetic levitation train.
A 3D-printed lamp-shade, powered by electromagnet, rotates constantly in the room and the projected rotating wave-shaped shadows create a more comfortable atmosphere.
