Entry Description

Light explodes into modern architecture and art in this stunningly beautiful Denver home. The owners whose family businesses include a winery and an art gallery gave the designer direction to illuminate their art collection, complement the architecture and create something spectacular for their wine display room. Sometimes quietly, sometimes boldly, light emerges from meticulous details of hidden sources throughout.
The owners and their guests traverse the interior/exterior, upstairs/downstairs boundaries without leaving the contiguous airspace. The lighting was designed with the same organic connections. In spaces like this, lighting controls are a necessary management tool. Intuitive multi-level scenes are controlled through simple, elegant interfaces. Automated functions, pathways, scenes, DMX color functions and individual load control are accessed through system keypads, iPads and mobile phone apps.
