Entry Description

The Wilshire Grand Center located in Los Angeles is the new tallest building west of the Mississippi. With a lighting vision begun by ACM and LDA, StandardVision was brought on to integrate three bespoke display systems which deploy as an iconic architectural media lighting platform.
Unique high resolution Crown and Courtyard displays are set behind glass and framed by the primary lighting Spine which consists of over 13,000 linear feet of modular lighting that utilize more than 220 distinct fixture length variations.
StandardVision developed unique solutions for each system, highlighted by its linear accent fixture (the Replicant), which was redesigned to provide a revolutionary modular product with length variations every 4mm (5/32”). This unparalleled flexibility allowed every foot of lighting to be pre-installed at the facade contractors factory before being lifted into place.
SV is proud to have played a role in redefining the Los Angeles skyline.
