Entry DescriptionA multifaceted space for events, presentations and consultations, Ounass Maison blends the exclusivity of a boutique, precision of a gallery and comfort of a luxury apartment. The lighting scheme elevates the elegant design narrative and weaves versatility into the experience through curated scenes that allow the space to transition with ease.
In the first presentation area, an all-white spotlight and track directs focused pockets of illumination onto the displays and seating. Linear LED luminaires break up the uniformity of the track, producing graphic lines of light that inject dynamism into the space.
Used for brand exhibitions and private consultations, the inner styling hub features layers of light, designed to add depth and drama to the visual aesthetic. Cove lighting accentuates the circular ceiling and spotlights concealed in the niches illuminate the display rails that run along the circular panelled walls. At a lower level, dramatic lines of light accentuate the bold colourways and sensuous finishes of the joinery pieces.
In the fitting rooms, the lighting is intimate and tailored to every visitor. Adaptive scene-setting technology creates a mood for every moment – crisp daylight to reveal the true tones and textures of the fashion pieces, golden warmth for comfort and subdued and romantic for evening attire.
Sustainability ApproachThe lighting solutions in the scheme have been purposefully designed and integrated only where necessary, minimising unnecessary architectural interventions and minimising energy usage. The team sourced compact luminaires to ensure the fittings do not detract from the overall aesthetic. Careful consideration was given to luminaire selection to ensure longevity, while the control system was designed to precisely manage light levels throughout the day.
