Entry DescriptionThis modular workshop space is located in a listed 18th century building with a room height of 5 mtrs. The project reimagines 1,000 m² of industrial heritage into a forward-thinking office environment with flexible workstations for up to 60 people. The aim: to create spaces where work feels like an opportunity, not an obligation. A place that strengthens collaboration, identity, and employee well-being.
At the heart of the concept lies the “Island of Possibilities” – a central zone that supports diverse work modes:
The Communication Harbour serves as a social anchor, with a tea kitchen, lounge, and arena fostering informal exchanges and team culture. A custom ceiling/ light cloud serves as an acoustic and visual focal point, while further lighting concepts, vintage furnishings, and graphic elements referencing Motan’s machinery heritage establish a strong brand presence.
Sustainability ApproachAll LED luminaires and lighting systems have been selected carefully in the light of meeting the highest standards in low-energy consumption and low maintanance levels.
