Entry DescriptionThe design team revitalized this urban commercial complex through innovative lighting solutions, transforming light into a storyteller that shapes atmospheres.
The STAR GOURMET food street (B2) embodies a "Journey Through Southeast Asia" concept. At Penang Station’s entrance, warm yellow light washes over vintage green trims, evoking a Malaysian train station. The ticketing booth’s brighter lighting invites culinary exploration.
In the Southern Garden, linear lights between aluminum panels mimic dappled sunlight. Kreta Ayer Street uses neutral lighting for functionality and discovery, with vintage bulbs adding nostalgic charm.
The Pandan Market stands out with concealed track lighting under colorful mesh, adjustable for events. Swinging pendant bulbs recreate a Southeast Asian night market vibe. At Kaya Pier, warm lighting simulates palm shadows, while neutral white light highlights photo spots.
Post-renovation data shows increased foot traffic and longer dwell times. The lighting not only boosts commercial value but crafts an immersive experience, making the space emotionally resonant and memorable.
Sustainability ApproachThe entire lighting scheme thoroughly considers operational needs. Integrated equipment bands combine aesthetics with easy maintenance, and flexible track systems accommodate tenant changes. For energy efficiency, the all-LED solution with smart controls ensures performance while significantly reducing consumption.
