Entry DescriptionA little Sputnik, a little disco, The Crenellated Lamp features interlocking crenellated acrylic panels to create a cohesive volume and curved silhouette, as well as a contrasting visual overlap through the film finish's unique color properties. Rigid geometries contrast the ethereal nature of the materials use to make the pendant lamp that casts warm unique hues in its surrounding environment.
The Crenellated Lamp was designed by Justin Bailey. Justin is an independent designer and Assistant Professor at Indiana University's School of Art, Architecture and Design in Bloomington, Indiana where he designs and produces furniture, objects and lighting. Justin received his MFA in 3D Design from the University of Iowa and has previously exhibited designs in New York Design week and the Interior Design Show Toronto.
