At Tikuna Bar Bali, the lighting design uses RGBW color-changing technology to create dynamic scenes that shift with the rhythm of the week. Integrated into architectural elements, the lighting transitions smoothly between moods—adapting to different occasions while enhancing the unique identity of the space. On weekday evenings, the atmosphere is set with warm amber tones in indirect lighting and focused 2400K spotlights, creating a relaxed and cozy vibe for everyday guests. As the weekend arrives, the energy shifts—late-night scenes are brought to life with vivid red lighting that floods the indirect elements, inspired by the strength, bravery, and bold spirit of the Tikuna tribe. For special events or themed parties, the lighting transforms once again—immersing the bar in cool blue hues blended with playful magenta. This combination brings a surreal, festive mood that encourages guests to explore and connect. The lighting becomes more than ambiance—it’s part of the story and spirit of Tikuna.
Sustainability Approach

Sustainability is achieved by respecting the existing wooden structure built by local artisans. To avoid invasive rewiring, we use a Bluetooth-based Casambi control system, allowing wireless control of all indoor and terrace lighting. Fixtures use retrofit LED bulbs and drivers, making future replacements simple and low-impact. This approach preserves the architecture, extends fixture life, and improves energy efficiency through dimming and smart scheduling.
