Lumencove Nano 2.0

Prize(s) Winners in Cove Lighting
Lighting Design/Product Company Lumenpulse Group Inc.
Lead Designers Lumenpulse Group Inc.
Completion Date October 2016
Project Location Montreal
Entry Description

The Lumencove Nano 2.0 is a dimmable cove lighting system that, for the first time, has eliminated the need for a power supply. The Lumencove Nano uses Lumendrive, an ASIC technology, to power and control LEDs directly from the AC mains, while allowing full digital dimming and control.
The Nano delivers an unprecedented efficacy of up to 114 lm/W and 467 lumens per section. Without onboard third-party components, it can also be smaller and thinner, allowing it to seamlessly integrate with architecture, without ever sacrificing sustainability.
The fixture avoids any uncertainty regarding its longevity, as the life cycle of the LED board is the thing that matters. The Lumencove Nano is backed by a ten-year limited warranty, which matches the lifetime of the LED board (L70 of 100,000 hours at 25C).
As a member of the Lumenpulse family of luminaires, the luminaire offers a wealth of options: 1 or 4-ft sizes, 3W/ft or 5W/ft outputs, a choice of color temperatures, and dimming options.
Company Description

Founded in 2006 in Montreal, Canada, Lumenpulse designs, develops, manufactures, and sells a wide range of high performance and sustainable specification-grade LED solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments.

While other LED lighting manufacturers have their roots in either electronics or traditional lighting, Lumenpulse's distinctive combination of strong industrial design and electronics knowhow has enabled the company to innovate ahead of its rivals and to offer more options for sustainable interior and exterior lighting.
