Entry DescriptionThis custom light fixture is the focal point of the entire 100 California lobby creating a simple, yet dynamic piece. Picking up on all of the angular expressions implemented elsewhere in the project. The design of the fixture went through many iterations with each iteration reducing the element further until it was only as much as needed to demonstrate the lightness and fluidity of a hand 3D sketch in the space. Two identical light fixtures were delicately crafted to look like a single mobius strip, lending to a simple, minimalistic design while creating a brilliant glow throughout the space.
