Entry Description

This lighting project was born from a fascination with the interplay between light, transparency, and geometry. The inspiration came from the way light passes through transparent materials and is revealed through its diffusion in the circular perforations present in the original parallelipipedic form.It seeks to combine formal decoration with a compromise between visual perception and the technical rigor of its construction. This pendant light combines an aluminum profile with a laser-cut acrylic parallelipipedic element with circular perforations of different diameters distributed asymmetrically.
Sustainability Approach

The luminaire is very energy efficient through the use of LED modules in FR4 sheets which in turn are encapsulated in a recycled aluminum profile. Light flows from the internal LED modules through the acrylic diffuser, illuminating its longitudinal contours and circular perforations.
The three-layer PMMA block presents itself as an element of sculptural lighting expression, striving for seamless integration within the interior space.
