Entry DescriptionAll chandelier modules are designed as frosted glass discs of various shapes, assembled into a composition that resembles clusters of clouds in the sky. This concept emphasizes the connection between Sky Tower and nature, creating a sense of lightness, openness, and harmony with the surrounding environment.
We carefully developed each element, combining different sizes, thicknesses, and degrees of frosted and glossy glass. This approach allows the texture of the material to fully interact with directed light. Diffused light gently spreads across the frosted glass surface, creating soft gradients, while glossy elements add accent reflections that bring the composition to life. This interplay of textures not only enriches the lighting effects but also makes the space feel deeper and more dynamic.
Special attention was given to the interaction between light and shadow. Each module acts as a diffuser, forming smooth transitions between light and shadow, creating a living, ever-changing visual experience within the space. This is not just a decorative object but a light installation that transforms depending on the viewing angle, light intensity, and time of day.
Sustainability ApproachThe chandelier for Bartolomeo Resort Town Residential Complex embodies the principles of sustainable development through eco-friendly materials, energy efficiency, and durability. It is made of glass—a fully recyclable material that minimizes environmental impact. Handcrafting reduces waste, while the combination of matte and glossy glass optimizes light effects without excessive energy consumption. The lighting is based on LED technology, which consumes minimal electricity, has a long lifespan, and generates little heat. Its modular design allows for easy updates without dismantling, extending its lifecycle. Inspired by clouds, the chandelier seamlessly integrates into the space, emphasizing the connection between architecture and nature.
