Entry Description

Tone seeks to set the mood. Utilizing a magnification mechanism the light distribution can easily be turned from a focused beam to a wide cast as the user sees fit. This ability allows Tone to seamlessly transition from a task light to an ambient light. Paired with its sleek and elegant aesthetic Tone can be integrated into many spaces while not being overbearing.
Sustainability Approach

Assembled from robust materials and boasting a variety of technical elements Tone is designed to last. The aluminum-dominant construction not only makes it durable but also allows the aluminum head to act as a heat conduit. An additional heat-sink vent has been designed into the rear of the light. This vent also doubles as a small hatch which can be opened to change the bulb. This school of thought extends to the functionality of the lamp. Given the ability to change the light distribution Tone can replace the need for other sources of task or ambient light as it can do both and switch as needed. The lamp's height allows it to fit comfortably next to a countertop as well as a couch. Over Tone's lifespan, it can see use in multiple homes and workplaces and across multiple dens and offices therein
