Entry Description

The interior lighting of the library embassy is designed with the concept of providing users with simple, comfortable, and clean library illumination.

Adhering to a design philosophy of sustainability, low maintenance, and artistic sensitivity, creating a modern, comfortable, and clean indoor lighting environment that meets the functional and aesthetic design requirements of the library. It aims to provide users with optimal visual conditions while achieving environmental sustainability.

Based on the spatial characteristics and functions of different areas, the design employs zoning and layered lighting. The extensive bookshelves serve as the library's most prominent feature, illuminated vertically with simple wall-washing lights, becoming the most eye-catching focal point in the indoor space. Low-level desk lighting is used in reading and study areas to ensure visual comfort.

Adjustable LED lights are used for their strong adjustability, allowing brightness to be tailored to reading needs and adapting to changes in daylight intensity entering the interior.
Sustainability Approach

Considering the needs of different scenes, different lighting circuits are set according to the scene to ensure the functional use meets the requirements of green energy saving; And consider part of the transition space as a rest area for readers,we reduce the brightness of similar spaces to ensure the comfort of readers.

The effect of indoor lighting enhances the functional and aesthetic quality of the library environment, and provides citizens with a more pleasant and efficient reading experience in the open and comfortable reading exhibition space under the background of eco-friendly and sustainable design.
