Entry Description

The biggest challenge was to integrate landscaping with the interior design of the house, respecting the colorimetry of each of the elements belonging to the flora. Currently, there is no energy supply in the area, so the lighting design is planned to operate with solar panels and an emergency generator.
The lighting concept is very sensory; the paths are lined with luminous guides that emerge from the level of the feet, gently caressing the ankles until reaching lighted steps that accompany the passerby as they approach those at knee level.
The main path allows for the discovery of three important zones. The yoga area is enveloped with small fireflies, filling it with magic, peace, and serenity. Next, there is a space for bonfires, where warm lighting, 18K, emerges from under a bench, seeking to integrate with the warmth of the fire. Before reaching the last space, there is a tree with lighting that makes it distinctive; it is a special fabrication that highlights its texture with blue moonlight.
Finally, there is a terrace where the beauty of each tree can be contemplated at night, surrounded by some cacti and other species illuminated with blue moonlight. Glare angles were carefully considered, and shadows were created toward the side facade of the house to ease the passage of golf carts that constantly travel along the path.
Sustainability Approach

This is the CDL Landscape design, featuring efficient technologies in its luminous flow, reducing energy consumption. The sections are separated with different dimmable switch cuts to allow for future automation and integration into the lighting control inside the house. Lighting efficiency, solar luminaires with sensor activation, products with Ecovadis gold medal 2023, dimmable design, solar panels.
