Entry DescriptionMevak - the art of appreciating all those little things in life- is a table lamp whose structure features three assembled cylinders and two organic shapes inspired by the green tree python, using black, white, and transparent colors. The functionality of Mevak consists of a translucent organic shape that rotates at the center of the LEDs, generating a movement effect with the lights, alluding to the product's name.
Sustainability ApproachMevak has the purpose to extend the product's lifespan and minimize waste. The PLA filament is made from renewable resources like corn or sugarcane offering an eco-friendly alternative to traditional petroleum-based plastics. Furthermore, the electric light used are LEDs, known for their highly efficient and long-lasting life. Also, they reduce electricity consumption compared to incandescent or fluorescent bulbs. Plus, by incorporating rechargeable batteries, associated waste is eliminated.
