Entry Description

This lighting design incorporates the concept of birth and rebirth. Its organic and shell-like structure displays a symbolic form of the cycle of life; As if from the heart of the created cracks, a light that is a symbol of life gradually comes out and reaches the surrounding environment. This lamp somehow portrays the contrast between fragility and strength with a display of irregularly formed cracks on its surface.

In this design, light shines from inside the structure and induces a feeling of liberation and continuity; Like a light strip that is passing through the cracks of the past and opens a way to the future. Using discontinuous lines and natural forms, this design invites the audience to think about the deeper concepts of life, regeneration and the constant flow of energy.
Sustainability Approach

The outer shell is made of environmentally friendly materials such as recycled ceramics or analytical composites that reduce environmental effects on production and excretion. In addition, metal components (such as pendant base) are made from recyclable metals that help maintain product stability after the end of the useful life. The design uses LED lamps that have low energy consumption and longer life than traditional lamps. This feature dramatically reduces power consumption and thus reduces the carbon traces of the product.
