Entry Description

Piegato, meaning “bent” in Italian, refers to the elegant inward bend that can be seen in the main lens of this collection. The design language is a constant juxtaposition of forces and surfaces that pull on one another yet coexist in perfect harmony; straight lines turn into curved surfaces that creates a feeling as if there is a strong, almost magnetic inner force that has suctioned the spherical shade inward, at which point it meets the light source, to then again emit a brilliant outward glow.

The main element of the fixture itself appears to be magically suspended by the fine leather and metal chain links, which themselves were inspired by luxury designer jewelry and handbags. The same leather is recessed into the hand carved alabaster or glass lens to further accentuate the shape of the inner bend.

Exquisite details, fine craftsmanship, and unique design culminate in perfect harmony to bring a new dimension to luxury lighting. The fixtures are fully customizable in term of materiality allowing clients to transform the product to truly make it a part of their home. Clients have the option to customize the metals finish, leather and the stone/ glass of the light fixture.
