Álvaro Siza Vieira is not just one of the world's most outstanding contemporary architects. He is a creator by nature, a free and restless spirit who constantly seeks inspiration from the world around him. Having collaborated with Vista Alegre in the past, Siza Vieira now returns with a new element in the Lighting line, the Pássaro lamp. In its original design, the bird, moulded like the level surfaces of a topographical model, takes flight, gently illuminating the space. Emerging from the ceramic process that gives it life, Pássaro seems to have been created by the elements, by the accidental harmony of nature, despite the rigorous architectural thinking that gave rise to it. A meeting of art and materials, knowledge and sensitivities that is only possible in a brand like Vista Alegre.
