Entry Description

POLAB VALDUR is manufactured in Sweden using advanced thermoset composites, a material widely used in high-tech industries like nuclear plants, aerospace, military, railway, and marine applications.
Thermoset composites (SMC), produced through advanced compression moulding, deliver unmatched durability and structural integrity. They withstand extreme stress, heat, and chemicals without deforming, offering impact resistance, vibration-dampening, weathering capabilities and fire resistance, these materials ensure safety in demanding environments. Additionally, their non-conductive nature supports seamless wireless integration for modern connectivity.

VALDUR leverages thermoset composites advanced properties non-conductive, fire-resistant, UV, and corrosion-resistant to ensure exceptional safety and reliability. These materials offer dimensional stability and a non-porous surface that inhibits algae growth, making them ideal for humid or marine environments. Their non-conductive nature prevents electrical arcing, ensuring safe operation under high-power lines. Featuring a pending-patented heat dissipation system developed by DAJAVA Design and incorporating the latest high-efficiency components from Signify, VALDUR delivers outstanding LED performance, even in Mediterranean climates, and has been rigorously tested across diverse ambient temperatures.
Sustainability Approach

Our sustainability strategy revolves around using thermoset composite materials, which are 30-40% lighter than aluminum. This makes installation easier and reduces emissions during transportation. In terms of production, thermoset composites generate 2 kg of CO2 per kilogram, compared to aluminum, which can vary but averages around 16 kg of CO2 per kilogram, depending on the type of aluminum used. This approach allows us to create a durable, high-performance product with a smaller carbon footprint, ensuring long-term sustainability and less environmental impact.
