Entry DescriptionThis project involved creating a lighting solution that integrates both architectural and performance elements within a restaurant. The goal was to develop a lighting experience that transitions from functional daytime illumination to a warm evening ambiance, culminating in meeting the brief of creating Champagne Party Train from mainland China.
The design required 19,800 DMX addresses to manage the intricate transitions and dynamic effects. Architectural lighting provided functional support, while performance lighting created focal points that enhanced the space as it shifted from day to night.
The project was realized through collaboration with our lighting design team, the client, Interior Designer and dedicated suppliers. The client’s open and fun brief allowed us to explore creative solutions, resulting in a design that seamlessly blends functionality with a vibrant nighttime atmosphere.
The final result is a dynamic environment that evolves throughout the day, delivering both technical excellence and a memorable, immersive experience. This project exemplifies the impact of innovative lighting design.
Sustainability ApproachFor this project, we embraced sustainability by using fixtures from the circular economy, ensuring longevity, easy maintenance, and minimal environmental impact. These fixtures met our performance and aesthetic standards while reducing waste. We also optimized energy efficiency with advanced controls that adjust lighting based on an astronomical clock and usage needs.
