Entry DescriptionThe TrUlli series is a portable ambient light that can be used in various settings such as homes, outdoor spaces, restaurants, and bars.
Its inspiration comes from the unique architectural style of the town of Alberobello in southern Italy, known for its distinctive "trulli" buildings. Drawing from the characteristics of trulli architecture, including their domed shape and conical roofs, the design exaggerates the proportions of these buildings, creating a playful and relaxed feeling for users.
Simultaneously, through the TrUlli lamp, we aim to bring the architectural and cultural essence of the Mediterranean region and the leisurely, relaxed lifestyle of Southern European countries into our homes.
Apart from the stainless steel buttons, TrUlli utilizes a biobased thermosetting resin material called MEBA BIORESINE®, derived from agricultural waste, which is fully recyclable.
Sustainability ApproachMEBA BIORESINE® the sustainable material we used:
A bio-based thermosetting resin derived from agricultural waste that offers exceptional quality and design flexibility for premium products. Composed of discarded biomass and other renewable raw materials (such as waste corn starch, sugarcane, vegetable oils, and fats), its production drastically reduces the use of fossil fuels and CO2 emissions. No ingredients of animal origin nor intended for human consumption are used during the process. It contains 67% biobased content with 41% of renewable carbon (ASTM D6866 method B). The production process ensures high-quality performance with strong characteristic colors and effects. The ease of processability and unlimited customization options make it a universal material. It can be produced by coating, in sheets or rods of different sizes and thicknesses.
