Entry Description

Flow is a self-care product that uses light to guide users through chakra-focused meditations. The product not only lends itself to intentional practices but also deepens one's experience through light and scent. Simply set how much time you want to focus on each chakra, choose cool light for energizing or warm light for relaxing, light an incense cone of your choice and close your eyes. For each of the seven chakras, the light starts out dim and gets brighter over the period of time that was set, "cleansing" each chakra. Focus on the light. Calm your mind. Bring your attention inwards. And deepen your relationship with yourself.
Sustainability Approach

The product uses a smart LED light bulb, which has a smaller carbon footprint than a regular incandescent light bulb. The product ideally would be made out of 100% recycled plastic that would then be injection molded if it were to be produced on a larger scale. This allows the product to also remain recyclable. Finally, the backflow incense cones don't require energy themselves as compared to a water-based essential oil diffuser.
