Entry DescriptionThe project is at the intersection of Binhai Boulevard and Houhaibin Road in Nanshan District. Overall, the lighting was designed to give the S-shaped bridge the appearance of a brilliant ribbon winding over the road. Nighttime colored lighting was placed on the road, so when the sun sets, the differing intensities of light and the way the colors have been matched give the bridge a distinct outline akin to that of a many-colored snake making its way through the dark, highlighting the unique shape of the bridge and giving it a completely different look from its daytime effect.
Safety, aesthetic, energy efficiency, sustainability, and cultural and historical value were all taken into consideration with the aim of providing the locals a joyful experience that leaves a lasting impression during their nighttime outings. The lighting renders the bridge as orderly and natural and has made it a landmark in the city.
The lighting adds to the city’s overall nightscape while enhancing safety and convenience for people at night. We want them to feel the pulse of the city at night as the warm lighting not only illuminates people’s ways home but also their hearts, giving them an increased sense of belonging to the city and happiness.
