Entry Description

Babylon is the most happening party place in Hyderabad at the moment.

For us the most striking feature of architecture was its materiality,
The idea of our lighting concept was very simple “To experience the materiality visually” we began designing keeping this in mind. Doing this we made sure that the light source was as hidden as possible and only the effect of lighting is experienced.

We used linear grazers to highlight the compound wall both from the exterior and from interior of the property. Which made the texture of the cladded stone take the prominence, We chose to use 30 degree 2700K linear grazers which helped in lighting up the green cover forming because of the beautiful existing tall trees.

We demarcated the steps with low intensity LED strips (2700K) to make sure the interesting form is captured. Planted trees were up lit to add to the subtle ambient light in the space. The huge bar back shelving is lit with linear strips under and the bar counter detail accentuated with LED strips

We introduced battery operated lights on each table to make sure the localized accent is taken care.

The brewery tanks were picked up with wide beam track spots. We used a tone whiter (3000K) to light up the tanks to achieve the color contrast.

Complete lighting solution is on DALI to control system over KNX. Which helped us achieve the perfect contrasts required.
