Entry DescriptionWuhan Dream Plaza is located at central business district of Wuhan, it is large-scale and high end. The plaza which covers from B1 to L9 has many commercial forms such as retail, food service, children's park, indoor ski field and so on. The theme of interior is change of seasons and flow of time. The concept of lighting design is closely related to interior design, we start our design based on the fact that the sun path of Wuhan all year round will change the color of sky and sunlight, using luminaire with different color temperature to coordinate design and material of each area. Our purpose is that when the customer come from one area to another, they seems to enter into a total new space, which can let them keep fresh feelings in such a immense retail center, and give them satisfying and unforgettable experience. In some important and special area such as atrium and playground of children, we use new technology of lighting, for example RGB floodlight and media mesh.
Sustainability ApproachWe have calculated the illuminance and LPD for each standard area of the shopping mall, ensure that all areas meet energy-saving standards. And we have also divided the lighting circuit of the area, which can achieve scenes such as day, night, and cleaning, which can reduce energy consumption further. In addition, we have also made requirements for the efficiency of lighting fixtures to prevent construction units from purchasing lighting fixtures that are not energy-efficient enough.
