Entry DescriptionHouses of Culture were, and in many Russian cities still are, the main points of attraction for young people – sometimes they become the first, key introduction to art.
In 13 Halls of the exhibition presents 8 main directions of art: painting, architecture, sculpture, graphics, photography, cinema, music, and theater.
Visual integrity based on the grandeur of the image of a Soviet figure distinguishes the light scenography. Each hall has its own uniqueness and individuality through different combinations of the same techniques. Special attention is paid to the lighting of sculptures.
Their principle is based on monumental art lighting – a combination of different color temperatures, predominantly bottom-up direction of light, and expressive contrasts. Additionally, dramatic shadows spread along the walls, visually enhancing the perception of the exposition.
One of the main lighting solutions is the sparkling light of polycarbonate, which creates an illusion of reminiscence, the mobility and play of light through the cell structure convey the passage of time.
For some, it may be a fleeting moment, while for others, it may be a lingering and more prolonged immersion.
The harmony between the monumental architecture and the light, sparkling polycarbonate reflects the variability of time.
