Entry Description Duke Kunshan University is the first and only university campus in China that receive LEED campus program certification. Adhering to the concept of "coexistence between humans and nature", all 22 buildings in the second phase campus have obtained LEED certification.Meanwhile,the visitor center has obtained LEED Platinum certification.The concept of green and health has integrated into all aspects of campus daily life. The campus covers an area of approximately 190000 square meters, with a total construction area of 153000 square meters. Connectivity is the core goal of the second phase campus planning,which aims to closely connect people with campus functions and link diverse cultures and different space to create the exclusive sense of place. The spatial order supports the concept of "learning anytime, anywhere", with diverse learning scenarios extending from interior to exterior. The lighting design fully considers the attributes of the campus and utilizes interior lighting.Indirect lighting with appropriate and comfortable illumination is designed to create healthy, safe, and comfortable campus atmosphere.
