Entry Description

A lamp for the waiting rooms of ambitious firms. "balance, precision, grace." A butterfly appears to bob up and down when in flight. When there's wind, its flight becomes more complicated. It remains in the air through this turbulence. Over 50 CNC cut pieces are brought together with M6 bolts to bring this seemingly erratic waltz a suggestion of careful planning and execution. Anodized CNC cut aluminum, nylon coated wire, LED bulbs. 6' X 1-1/2' X 1-1/2'. Model - Sue Park. Designed 2019, Fabricated 2021
