Entry Description

The entry sequence begins at a blue accented canopy, to textured rough-cut travertine walls grazed with light, thin minimal lines that appear boundless at ceiling edges and gravity-defying blades; lighting elements maximize interest & visibility. The minimal interior lighting palette consists of high efficacy, long-life, LED lighting integrated into concealed details, with remote power supplies in adjacent accessible locations. Five general lighting types: continuous linear LED, wall-grazer, LED accents, luminous graphic wall, and “floating” blades add up to a total of $10/sq. ft, consuming a total of 10% below Title24 allowable energy consumption, with the assistance of a daylight sensing lighting control system. A glass pedestrian bridge intersects the lobby, but the boundless lines of light appear visiually uninterrupted. A sculptural reception desk, articulated with light is centrally positioned. . Elevator lobbies contain a rhythmic thin acrylic details with LED lighting.
