Entry Description

The technical lighting project for St Marche establishes a harmonious conversation between architecture and the supermarket chain’s concept of innovation, improving consumers’ shopping experience.

The current understanding that purchasing spaces are places to linger is consolidated in this project as it conceives a living space dedicated to informal encounters and work meetings. Modernity and warmth are inviting characteristics for clients to linger in this environment.

At the produce section, sources of warm light with a color rendering index above 90 accentuate the quality of the products and the colors of food items, sparking desire among buyers.

Across the aisles, the main feature is the space zoning concept for the gondolas, using projectors arranged in rows in metallic structures that drive clients’ eyes to the products on display.

The lighting concept for this project allowed us to create different ambiences, providing a dynamic and exhilarating pathway to users while also incorporating the concept of sustainability, with LED light fixtures, offering high efficiency and low energy consumption.
