Entry DescriptionPassengers will experience the beauty of B.C. with a glassed in island forest-known as . Eos Lightmedia developed the 360 degree lighting and visual media experience that envelopes Mythical Island in cascades of coloured light, magical video content, immersive projections and surround sound audio-scapes.
We developed software to coordinate the playback of multiple lighting, video and audio systems as well as create an interactive experience by gathering position data from Lidar. The tech stack for this project includes Python, Ruby, TouchDesigner, QSys, Cuescript and 3D animated environments. A full minute by minute control system was created to schedule all the divergent systems from one user interface.
Several layers of cutting edge lighting, digital display, projection, sensor, and networked audio technologies are seamlessly integrated into the buildings architecture. We collaborated with all stake-holders, including architects, marketing and branding personnel, creative consultants, and end clients to ensure that every aspect of this world-class experience exceeded expectations.
