Entry DescriptionThe park theater, located in the city of Recife, PE, Brazil, was opened in 1915. In 2013 the last renovation was started which was completed in 2020.
The lighting project includes all the theater environments and facades. On the ground floor, we have the Access Gallery and Mirror, Hall, Foyer, audiences, cabins, wet areas, dressing rooms, rehearsal room, annexes and external areas.
The entire project was prepared taking into account the issues related to the restoration with rescue of the functioning of the theater at the time of the inauguration.
The Park Theater, in addition to functioning for the exhibition of theatrical plays, also functions as a cinema, in this way the lighting concept needed to meet the 2 needs.
In the internal area of the theater, all lighting was designed for automated operation and controlled directly from the sound booth with the possibility of differentiated light scenes.
In this area, detail to enhance the existing metal roof with indirect lighting through sconces and cozy light, with a temperature of 2700K.
In the audience, lighting was proposed to signal the floor for the moment when all the lights are off and the show has already started.
